which is better?
Amd Phenom II x6 1055T 2.8GHz 9MB Cache
or Intel Quad Core i7-2600 Processor (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz - Max Turbo Frequency: 3.8Ghz)
NOTE: THE AMD IS CHEAPER THAN THE I7 BY A LOT!

I know AMD are cheaper, but you get what you pay for... I payed for my i7 at $300+ and the amd is roughly $200 to $300 i even did research on the AMD compared to Intel, Intel are slightly faster compared to the AMD cores... and the 6 core amd is slower than an i7 therefore the amd 6 core doesn't use the full potential of its 6 cores... Go for an i7 even though it cost more plus its sandy bridge go for the I7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope i made sense

http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/info/SY-UD3R-930-4GB/1662/ ask them to swap the RAM for 6 gig in tri-channel or even go for 12 gig
