From reading their forums I don't think canary is going to be around much longer:/
they are losing developers and the most recent rushed update is very 'unstable' with many bugs.

I run my server with McMyAdmin and it has Bukkit now, but it is stil crap, but I'm using it for vids for youtube. Very Happy
